Dr. Wolanski Studied Microbiology at the University of British Columbia and graduated from Dentistry at the University of Alberta in 1987.

He has operated three dental clinics in Nanaimo British Columbia.  He is a past member of the New Practitioners Committee under the College of Dental Surgeons.  He was also chair of the Practice Management Sub-Committee.

Dr Wolanski was a board member of the Association of Dental surgeons of British Columbia, past president of the Nanaimo and District Dental Society, past President of the Upper Island Dental Society, and he was elected as Secretary/Treasurer of the ADSBC for 2003-2004.

He is a graduate of the  Carl Misch Institute of implant dentistry in Michigan, the Pacific Implant Institute under Dr. Ron Zokol, and the Pikos Implant Institute in Tampa Florida. He has been a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists since 1999 and has received his fellowship status. In August of 2009, Dr. Wolanski received his Mastership status in Implantology from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Wolanski has been placing dental implants in Nanaimo since 1992.  He is currently the Director of the Vancouver Island Implant Centre, and has lectured to numerous groups on dental practice, implants and clinical dentistry. He has taught other dental professionals in Nanaimo dental implant techniques.
